Reed Law is a growing firm that promotes a non-litigation approach to family law and probate cases, with our attorneys only using temporary relief hearings to facilitate excellent settlements for our clients. We have found that most times, battling in the courtroom is not ultimately best for our clients. It primarily costs clients a great deal more financially and emotionally than it is worth. It also destroys what little relationship that the parties may have, and when there are children involved, this can have lifelong negative impacts on them, their children, and grandchildren, with awkward or hostile family events and holidays for the rest of their lives. We prefer to take a calmer, more creative approach with our clients, using various settlement techniques to resolve their cases without litigating. This approach also enables our team to work in a much lower stress environment.

We do not take cases to trial; however, we do represent our clients in temporary relief hearings now and again in an effort to promote settlement.

With the exception of Kimberly D. Reed, Esq., the office manager, and the client care specialist, all of our team members, including attorneys, work remotely from home. This is a great benefit to our team members in helping them balance work and personal life. Family Law Attorney

We are looking for an experienced family law attorney, who is able to handle all aspects of family law matters that include the following types of cases: dissolution of marriage, paternity, child support, and modifications. The associate attorney will need to be able to independently handle a family law caseload, with minimal support from senior attorneys.

Compensation Dependent on Experience: $99k – $150k Base Salary, plus bonuses based on hours billed and collected.

Qualifications:
Florida Bar License – Member in Good Standing
5+ Years of Family Law Experience

Family Law Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced family law paralegal to assist our lawyers in preparing documents, organizing cases, and working with clients going through their family law cases. This is a remote position. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines are critical.

Qualifications:
2+ years of Family Law Experience
Strong writing skills
Strong organizational skills
Experience working with clients

Compensation Dependent on Experience: From $50,000 per year

Hours: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. CT to 5:00 p.m. CT
